I was raised on a farm in Hunterdon County. I helped out on myriad home improvement and maintenance projects to the house, the grounds, and the barns. Hard work and attention to detail were part of my upbringing.
I inherited my mother’s appreciation for art which led me to a career in the art world in NYC, fashion world in Paris and television industry worldwide. I travelled extensively and realized there’s no place like home. I bought a house in the Delaware River Valley and moved here permanently a few months before losing my father. Real estate is the perfect job for me, as it utilizes my passion for the land and my recognition for history, design and style.
I still love to do home improvement projects and am in the process of landscaping and building stone walls and patios which enclose my gardening projects. I have a yoga practice which keeps me flexible in body and mind. I’m on the board of the Prallsville Mill in Stockton engaged with the Strategic Planning Committee and also an advisor to the Friends of the Locktown Stone Church. I helped organize its 200th anniversary celebration in December. I’m proud to participate in organizations that give back to the community.
As a Realtor®, I’m always learning. I attend the tri-state Realtors® conference Triple Play, held annually, and come home with new information and valuable marketing ideas. One year I saw a terrific video from Australia which resulted in River Valley Realty producing a video for a property I sold in PA entitled The House at Leeside Farm. I used a very talented director Christopher Bye, a Bucks County native. I enjoy creative marketing solutions identifying the special aspects of each home I sell and welcome my buyers needs by listening and thinking outside the box.
I look forward to having the opportunity to work with new clients, and invite you to contact me at 609-397-3007 and andrea@mergentimeproperties.com.
