River Valley’s success is due in large part to our roster of experienced and hardworking agents. Here’s an introduction to Donnie Pheor, River Valley’s top producer in February 2017.
What made you become a realtor? I’ve always loved homes, the architecture, the beautiful curves and lines of a home, especially in the older ones. Every home tells a story, whether of love and life, or the opposite. I decided that I wanted to be part of that story. There is a sense of fulfillment when a buyer walks into THE house, and in that moment they just realize this is where the next step in their life starts. That feeling is what made me become a realtor. I believe, that we as realtors, need to have that feeling in order to do the best job possible for our clients.
What do you do when you are not working? When I’m not working, or at least when work is in the back of my mind, I spend time with my children and I love to cook. I’ve become a short order cook, because when you have kids they are always hungry. Family is very important to me, so on my off time I am usually with my sister and her family or my parents.
What professional associations and/or local organizations are you involved with? I am a member of the Hunterdon County Council for Young Children- Lambertville chapter. The council is about bringing forth events and ideas to help the youth of our town. We provide much needed services to the parents and children of our town that some may not have to means to do. I am also a member of the Lambertville Area Education Foundation. The LAEF is a non profit all volunteer group. The organization holds events and fundraisers to help provide grants to the students of Lambertville, West Amwell, Stockton, and South Hunterdon High School. To date, the organization has raised almost a million dollars.
