River Valley’s success is due in large part to our roster of experienced and hardworking agents. Here is an introduction to Bradley Sanford.
What separates you from your competition? I’ve always felt that no matter what a salesperson sells, they should know their product. That is particularly important for helping to guide the purchase or sale of what might be someone’s biggest investment of their lifetime. That knowledge should include the property itself as well as what the surrounding area has to offer. My background, prior to selling real estate, was in old home restoration and design. Many of my clients have found my knowledge of both the local architecture and the local culture invaluable.
What professional associations and or local organizations are you involved with? It’s easy to become involved in the river town’s organizations and activities. I particularly enjoy being part of the charitable work done by the local Rotary and Elks Clubs. I serve as a trustee at the Lambertville Elks 1070 and am actively involved in their local activities such as the open mic nights and benefits that aid the local community. But living near the Delaware offers the unique advantage of being involved with organizations such as S.P.L.A.S.H., the floating classroom. Splash is a steam powered paddle boat docked here in Lambertville. I serve as a mate/crew member as well as serving on their board of director’s team.
What do you do when you are not working? There is so much to do in the river valley. I always try to keep things local. You can find me most every morning walking to get coffee in-town. The river is a big part of my life. I enjoy sitting at the river’s edge taking in the beauty and peacefulness of the day or spending time with my wife, Linda, and dog, Blanche, in our “Lunatiki”, an old sailboat converted into a cabined motor launch which we enjoy puttering up and down the Delaware. One of the reasons people settle in Lambertville is the wonderful folks they meet here in town. My wife and I have always found the people here so welcoming. We’ve been lucky enough to enjoy local groups for things like badminton nights, sing-along boat rides, and garden planting days. I often refer to our community as a “college town for adults”. Lots of local culture, great food, wonderful people and always something to do.
