River Valley’s success is due in large part to our roster of experienced and hardworking agents. Here is an introduction to Kathleen Mannino
What made you become a realtor?
Almost 4 years ago, my husband and I were navigating the real estate world as first time home buyers. I took it upon myself to act as our “real estate agent” seeking out any possible house we could be interested in and scheduling each appointment with various listing agents. The thrill and possibility of each new house we looked at served as proof to me that this was an industry and career path I would love and be excited to involve myself in on a daily basis. Having little knowledge about the process past finding the house you love, we stumbled upon Kim Ward Bacso, who was able to successfully guide us to the purchase of our first family home. Having previously worked in the pharmaceutical and payroll industries, I was well versed in the task oriented processes that real estate embodies. Now having that same thrill of seeing new properties and homes intertwined into my daily work is a career dream come true.
What do you do when you are not working?
I may not look it, but I am 25% Italian and married to a Sicilian so cooking is a huge part of my daily life. I grew up with one of the best cooks around, my mother, who prides herself by making everything from scratch. During my downtime, I can be found reading cooking blogs and magazines for inspiration for my next big dish. I love experimenting with new recipes and also cementing Italian staples into my cooking repertoire. I am currently experiencing the biggest joy by having my 2 year old daughter “help” me in the kitchen. She loves to eat, so I am making sure she sees the joy and importance of taking your time to cook, taste, and respect each recipe.
What is your proudest life moment?
The day I started working at River Valley Realty, of course! Second runner up, was the day my daughter was born. Cliché, I know, but what an experience. She is pretty much an exact replica of me, so if you are looking to buy a house in about 25 years, she’s your gal!
What separates you from your competition?
I may be a newer agent, but I have loved Real Estate from a very young age and have always stayed up to date on properties currently on the market and recently sold in the Hunterdon County and Bucks County areas. Now as a licensed agent, I am able to even further my love of the industry into my daily work life. My past work experience has taught me the professionalism, importance of timeliness, and client relationship standards necessary to be a successful real estate agent. I have been able to harness these learned traits to help guide my clients in one of the biggest and most important purchases of their lifetime. I take the role very seriously and treat each and every transaction with the utmost respect and care
