River Valley’s success is due in large part to our roster of experienced and hardworking agents. Here is an introduction to Tom Giovannoli.
What made you become a Realtor?
I have always been intrigued by architecture, interior design, and the real estate business. I realized that becoming a Realtor enabled me to better serve my residential clients. Having the ability to assist them with a broader spectrum of real estate issues, whether it was to locate property to build on, home for investors to renovate or provide to property management services for landlords has proven to be invaluable.
What do you do when you’re not working?
I am grateful to have a close loving family and we enjoy spending time together. When I can, I play golf, ski in the Adirondacks, and socialize with friends. Thanks to my dad, who encouraged me to be creative and work with my hands, I enjoy working on home renovation projects and helping others do the same.
What separates you from your competition?
With my previous design/build expertise, I’m able to help my clients visualize the potential in a property they’re interested in buying or planning to sell. I strive to guide and educate my clients so they can realize the best use of their investment. Being an agent with River Valley Realty enables me to promote the sale of property with a broad-spectrum of marketing programs designed to reach and entice buyers and sellers. This, along with my ethical business practice, ensures that my clients know that I have their best interest in mind.
What is your proudest life moment?
Pursuing my dream to be an entrepreneur. In 2001 I resigned from my VP position with Merrill Lynch to start my own design/build company. Soon after, I became involved with, from the ground up, designing and managing the installation of a 7,000 S.F. custom modular home. Completion of this home generated a plethora of referred business. This home was elected by Haven Modular Homes as “Home of The Year.” To this day I’m proudest of this accomplishment.
