What do you do when you’re not working? I love to travel. I’m always up for a new adventure whether it be a quick weekend getaway to New York or a cultural immersion tour to Cuba, I find it refreshing to change my environment even if it’s just for a couple of days. I lived in London for several years with my husband and during that time it was easy to slip off and explore different European destinations, experiment with new cuisine and wines, visit museums and cultural events or just hop a train through the countryside. While at home I especially enjoy cooking, baking and entertaining. Kicking my feet up with a good read and a glass of vino is always a treat, but my favorite pastime by far is snuggling with my sweet miniature dachshund, Harlee.
What professional associations and/or local organizations are you involved with? As a Realtor, I am a member of national and local professional organizations in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Outside of my professional world, I find volunteering for non-profit organizations fulfilling in so many ways. Sharing my time, energy and skills in a way that benefits other people and organizations plays a key role in my personal and professional development. My involvement includes; phone support for Public Radio fundraising events, a book collection and creation of a library for a homeless shelter in Philadelphia, Officer and Board member of Friends of the Delaware Canal, fundraising for Delaware Canal 21 and volunteering for New Hope Historical Society and the Audubon Society events. Here I am being recognized by the President of the Friends of the Delaware Canal for my work on the organization’s largest annual fundraising event. It feels good to be appreciated!
